Terms of Service

By accessing or using RacketMania (the "Platform"), including our mobile applications on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store and our web portals, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and RacketMania, operated from Prague, Czech Republic, and governed by the laws of the Czech Republic and the European Union.

RacketMania provides a platform for booking racket sports courts and connecting players for matches. Our Services include:

• Court discovery and booking across multiple racket sports (tennis, badminton, squash, padel, pickleball, table tennis, racquetball, beach tennis, and others)
• Player matchmaking based on skill level (RSR rating), reliability rating (RR), and preferences
• Match organisation and scheduling
• Player ratings, statistics, and leaderboards
• In-app wallet and payment processing for bookings
• Real-time chat and support messaging
• Venue management tools for venue partners

You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account and use our Services. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

To use certain features, you must create an account using email, phone number, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
• Keep your account information updated
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account

You may not create multiple accounts, share your account credentials, or transfer your account to another person without our written consent.

• All bookings are subject to court availability and venue confirmation.
• A credit block of up to 500 CZK may be placed on your wallet when joining a match. This block is released upon match completion or cancelled if you withdraw more than 24 hours in advance.
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled time may result in forfeiture of the blocked credits.
• No-shows will result in deduction of the blocked credit amount and a reduction in your Reliability Rating (RR).
• Venue-specific cancellation policies may apply in addition to our general policy. Please review them before booking.
• Refunds for cancelled bookings are processed according to our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

When participating in matches organised through our Platform:

• Treat all players with respect, fairness, and good sportsmanship
• Arrive on time for scheduled matches
• Report match results accurately and promptly
• Do not engage in harassment, discrimination, bullying, or abusive behaviour
• Do not intentionally misrepresent your skill level
• Follow the rules and safety guidelines of the venue and sport

Violation of these guidelines may result in warnings, temporary suspension, rating penalties, or permanent account termination at our discretion.

Our Platform uses a RacketMania Skill Rating (RSR) system calculated from match results, a Reliability Rating (RR) based on attendance and punctuality, and a Karma score based on community behaviour. These ratings are:

• Calculated automatically using our algorithms
• Visible to other users to facilitate fair matchmaking
• Subject to decay after periods of inactivity
• Not manually adjustable by users

You agree that your ratings are a reflection of your match performance and platform behaviour, and you will not attempt to manipulate ratings through collusion, intentional losses, or other dishonest means.

• All payments are processed securely through Stripe, a PCI DSS-compliant payment processor.
• Prices are displayed in Czech Koruna (CZK) or your local currency, inclusive of applicable VAT where required.
• A service fee of 5-10% may be applied to bookings.
• Wallet balances can be used for bookings. Withdrawal terms may apply.
• You are responsible for any fees charged by your bank or payment provider.
• All fees are clearly displayed before you confirm a booking.

For venue owners and administrators using our Platform:

• You are responsible for providing accurate court availability, pricing, and facility information
• You must honour all confirmed bookings
• You must maintain safe, clean, and suitable sporting facilities
• You must comply with all applicable local health, safety, and business regulations
• You agree to our venue partner terms and commission structure (10-15% per booking)
• You are responsible for settling any outstanding pay-in invoices in a timely manner

You agree not to:

• Use our Services for any illegal or unauthorised purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Distribute spam, malware, or other harmful content
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from our Platform
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of our Services
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Use our Platform to arrange matches or bookings outside our system to avoid fees

All content, features, functionality, trademarks, logos, and design elements of the Platform are owned by RacketMania and are protected by Czech and international intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse engineer any part of our Services without our express written permission.

By posting content on our Platform (such as profile information or match reviews), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute such content in connection with our Services.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, including Czech Civil Code (Act No. 89/2012 Coll.), RacketMania shall not be liable for:

• Physical injuries sustained during sports activities booked through our Platform
• Disputes between users, whether related to matches or otherwise
• The condition, safety, or quality of venues listed on our Platform
• Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the Services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you through the Platform in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable EU consumer protection law.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless RacketMania and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any other reason at our reasonable discretion. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at support@racketmania.com.

Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately. Any outstanding wallet balance (minus any applicable deductions) will be refunded within 30 days upon request. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us first at support@racketmania.com so we can attempt to resolve the issue informally.

As an EU consumer, you may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Czech Republic, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent courts in Prague, Czech Republic.

If you are a consumer within the EU, you retain any mandatory consumer protection rights granted by the laws of your country of residence that cannot be waived by agreement.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or through a prominent notice in our Services at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Services after the effective date of changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
